Life Experiences

Luo Qingyang, originally named Luo Li, is a descendant of General Luo Ze, the Roaring Tiger. In his youth, his family fell into decline. He went to Tianqi City alone and was taken in as a disciple by Yi Bo, the Sect Leader of the Shadow Sect, who gave him the name Luo Qingyang (symbolizing a meteoric rise to prominence).

When Ye Ding attempted to seize a bride by force, Luo Qingyang, along with Baili Dongjun and Sikong Changfeng, fought their way out. In his first duel with his master, Yi Bo, he entered the Carefree Heaven Realm. Before the late Emperor passed away, he rewarded Luo Qingyang with Mu Liang City for his meritorious service in protecting him, helping him cultivate the Desolate Sword, turning it into a force to be reckoned with, and rivaling Wushuang City.

Ye Ding achieved great power and swept through the Central Plains. In Tianqi City, he fought Baili Dongjun in a decisive battle, narrowly losing by half a move. Afterwards, Baili Dongjun took Ye Ding, and Luo Qingyang took Consort Xuan southward to join them. Then, Ye Ding committed suicide. Luo Qingyang, Baili Dongjun, and Yi Wenjun erected a tombstone together (Shao Nian Bai Ma Zui Chun Feng – Youth White Horse Drunk Spring Breeze).

More than a decade later, after Zhao Yuzhen’s death, he became the leader of the Sword Immortals (had Zhao Yuzhen not died, his talent and strength would not have been inferior to Luo Qingyang’s, and it would have been uncertain who would be the leader of the Sword Immortals). After Baili Dongjun went into seclusion on a remote island, Luo Qingyang held the top position on the Absolute Ranking. At the request of Prince Chi, Xiao Yu, he went to Tianqi City and questioned the world with his sword. The Wrath Sword Immortal Yan Zhantian and the Unparalleled Sword Immortal Wushuang were both defeated by the Jiu Ge sword. Later, Xiao Se questioned him with his sword, and fought Luo Qingyang in a bitter battle, using the Split Nation Sword Art with the Heaven Slaughter Sword, breaking Luo Qingyang’s Lament for the Nation Sword, but also indirectly helping Luo Qingyang enter the Divine Wandering Mystic Realm. Luo Qingyang used his last sword, Li Hun (Tribute to the Soul) below the Mystic Realm, which could have consumed his lifespan, but was stopped by Lei Wujie. Afterwards, he threw the Jiu Ge sword towards the Qingping Hall, intending to assassinate the Emperor, but was stopped by the State Preceptor Qi Tianchen (the State Preceptor was also seriously injured as a result and later ascended to immortality). Because he had just entered the Mystic Realm, he suffered a backlash and was injured, and was about to go mad, but was saved by Consort Xuan, and did not become demonic. In the end, he and Consort Xuan lived in seclusion in Mu Liang City (Shao Nian Ge).
