Spirit Realm Walker is a newly emerging novel by author Newspaper Selling Little Wolf Cub, belonging to the modern fantasy time-travel genre. The story has achieved the Five-Star Glory Award, becoming the 11th work from Nam Tần to receive this medal.

Information

The story revolves around Zhang Yuanqing, a freshman with a brilliant mind, living in a modern urban setting where secret realms called “Spirit Realms” exist. These secret realms are dangerous and challenging spaces scattered across the planet, only open to those with enough wit and agility to overcome them, in order to gain extraordinary power.

Zhang Yuanqing comes from a matriarchal family with two strong women, his grandmother and mother, who have greatly influenced his perspective and spirit. Although he has the ability to process information like a computer, Zhang Yuanqing also suffers from “overload” and sometimes “shutdown” – a secret he keeps hidden.

By chance, he receives a Supreme VIP card from a close friend, which is actually a key to enter the Spirit Realm. This character card once belonged to a notorious demon, spreading fear everywhere, and Zhang Yuanqing knows that he must use the alias  Primordial Lord of Heaven instead of his real name. Under this new name, he begins his adventurous journey, gradually stirring up the Spirit Realm world with his skills and intelligence.

Cultivation System

Spirit Realm Professions and Levels: Levels 1-3 are the extraordinary stage, levels 4-6 are the sage stage, levels 7-9 are the dominance stage. Lord is then the supreme or demigod (five elements master level), also called human immortal. After that is God.

Character cards appear randomly in reality (depending on personal experience to choose a master), spirit realm family closeness to the profession appears relatively single profession. Because most of the consciousness is lost, the spirit body appears in a state of stupidity, relying on instinct, or rather, obsession to work. Any living being, once dead, the spirit body will continue to dissipate. Ordinary people can maintain it for up to seven days. Spirit Servant

An abnormal spirit body is artificially refined through spirit body refinement. The most famous is the ghost control technique of the Night Wanderer. The materials of different professions will give the spirit body different characteristics, and the meaning of spirit extraction is to peel off the spirituality in the material and bless the spirit body. Not just any material can be used to refine spirit servants. There are two limitations: one is that the material belongs to yin, and the other is that the material is suitable for the spirit body.

Moral Value Mechanism

The initial moral value is 60. Lower than this value will trigger the spirit realm’s punishment mechanism. It will notify your location to all spirit walkers in the same city and issue a mission to purge you. Spirit realm walkers stealing, robbing, injuring people… Will depend on whether the circumstances are aggravated or not, deducting 1-5 points of moral value. Murder deducts 10 points of moral value. In cases of serious consequences, multiple deaths and injuries, moral value will be deducted accordingly depending on the degree of violation. For some private moral losses, it will not affect the moral value. In addition, moral values will be deducted and, of course, accumulated. Spirit realm walkers who slay monsters will not deduct moral value.

Except for ordinary clothes, most things in reality cannot be brought into the spirit realm. Medicine is allowed, but must be used.

The Spirit Realm dungeons are constantly being adjusted. Guiding the Spirit Realm and taking away items within it will naturally reduce the difficulty of the dungeon. If the Spirit Realm guide fails, and the person falls within, dropping items, then the difficulty of the Spirit Realm will increase. For the same Spirit Realm, different levels, the tasks received are also different. Guides can only be used as reference materials, allowing people to understand the dungeon, and know some basic information and dangers.

Faction Reputation

Gaining faction reputation will make spirit walkers in the same faction wary. Killing spirit walkers in the same faction will deduct double the reputation of the killed person.

Spirit realm walkers with special inheritances will often be assigned high-difficulty missions.

The Spirit Realm’s issuance of character cards is not unlimited, but has a certain limit. Therefore, every time a Spirit Walker dies, everything they have will be recovered by the Spirit Realm, including the character card.

After a high-level spirit realm walker dies, the Spirit Realm will not format 100%. This character will retain some special items, and then issue them to newcomers. This phenomenon is called inheritance.

Map Opening Mechanism

After passing the trial task, multiplayer spirit realms open once a month, and single spirit realms open once every three months. When a single spirit realm opens in that month, the multiplayer spirit realms will not open. Each task is spaced no less than half a month apart. The rule for spirit realm walkers entering dungeons is: multiplayer – multiplayer – single… In a secondary loop.

Reaching the peak level of each stage, wanting to jump to a higher stage, requires participating in a large-scale slaying dungeon. Dungeons can choose to participate in or not. Large-scale slaying dungeons open twice a year.
