Appearing Work: “Lin Yuan Xing” (临渊行)

Character Background

Di Feng, originally named Bu Feng, betrayed and overthrew his master Di Jue, along with the Heavenly Queen (天后), while Di Jue was in the New Immortal Realm and severely injured after participating in the Future War. He then became the new Emperor. After capturing the Martial Immortal (武仙人), he left the Martial Immortal’s immortal sword at the Corona Borealis Great Wall (北冕长城) to imprison ascension.

Character Abilities

Di Feng is considered the greatest swordsman in the history of the Immortal Realm. After successfully cultivating the Ninth Heaven of Sword Dao and fighting Su Yun, he saw the existence of the Tenth Heaven of Sword Dao.

He studied his master Di Jue’s methods and created his own supreme technique, the Nine Profound Indestructible Art (九玄不灭功), praised by Di Jue as virtually indestructible by any treasure or technique. Even ordinary mortals who master it can possess the combat power of top-tier Golden Immortals before becoming immortals. However, taking too much damage in battle will leave difficult-to-remove scars. He cultivated the Nine Profound Indestructible Art to the Ninth Heaven, mastering two types of Ninth Heaven alone.

After seizing the throne, he suppressed those who supported Di Jue in suspended coffins. He refined his sword pill into a treasure using the Myriad Transformation Immortal Furnace (万化焚仙炉). Su Yun realized in the Purple Mansion (紫府) that Di Feng’s strength might surpass the Heavenly Queen, the Evil Emperor (邪帝), and Uncle Di (帝叔). Due to seeing the Tenth Heaven of Sword Dao in the battle with Su Yun, he was willing to let the Immortal Court army suffer heavy losses, focusing on confronting the Evil Emperor, breaking his mental demons, and breaking through to the Tenth Heaven. Di Chaos (帝混沌) evaluated him as being close to reaching the realm of the ultimate swordsman, but lacking in Dao Heart.

Character Experience

Bu Feng, whose real name is Bu Feng, was accepted as a disciple by Di Jue in the Sixth Immortal Realm. Due to his outstanding sword talent, he was envied by many sword-wielding immortals, but grew safely under Di Jue’s protection. However, Bu Feng was ambitious. Years ago, he incited the Chaos Four Extremes Cauldron (混沌四极鼎) to attack the Myriad Transformation Immortal Furnace (帝绝等人认为是这样,但实际上是帝忽造成的), disrupting Di Jue’s plan. Taking advantage of Di Jue’s descent to the lower realm, he conspired with the Immortal Realm families to rebel, joining forces with the Heavenly Queen and others to ambush the severely injured Di Jue. With the help of the Chaos Four Extremes Cauldron, after a fierce battle, he defeated and suppressed Di Jue, who was severely injured in the Future War of the Cosmic Graveyard, seized the throne, and shattered the Seventh Immortal Realm. As the Immortal Realm gradually declined, in order to avoid the catastrophe of the Immortal Realm turning to ashes, he deliberately released the spirituality of Di Jue, the Evil Emperor, Uncle Di, and others to seek life, explored the secrets of the Primordial Forbidden Zone, and thus searched for the Master of the Purple Mansion (紫府之主). He was injured by Su Yun, who was possessed by the Samsara Saint King (轮回圣王), the Master of the Purple Mansion.

Through the Martial Immortal, he found the Number One Immortal, set up a trap at the Four Emperors Assembly (四御大会), but was betrayed by his own disciple and besieged by the Evil Emperor, the Heavenly Queen, and others, suffering heavy injuries and his body shattered into many demon gods. However, thanks to the betrayal of the Longevity Emperor Lord (长生帝君), who defected to Di Feng, he was able to escape back to the Immortal Realm and ordered an attack on the Old Gods guarding the River of Oblivion (忘川) to release the immortals suppressed in the Ashes of Tribulation (劫灰).

Taking advantage of Ying Zongdao’s (应宗道) release from the Golden Coffin (金棺), he ambushed the Evil Emperor, the Heavenly Queen, and others, but failed because Di Hu (帝忽) incited the Chaos Four Extremes Cauldron to attack other treasures. Recognizing the loopholes in his Nine Profound Indestructible Art due to being repeatedly injured by the Evil Emperor and the Heavenly Queen, he ordered the Martial Immortal and Prison Heaven Lord (狱天君) to control the Thunder Pool (雷池), while sending his subordinates to explore the Primordial Forbidden Zone. He himself also entered the Primordial Forbidden Zone to fight Uncle Di. Because the Emperor Sword (帝剑) was marked by the Four Extremes Cauldron, and the technique was also cracked by Di Hu, Di Feng was severely injured by Uncle Di, who was controlled by Di Hu, leaving serious Dao injuries. He had a swordsmanship confrontation with Su Yun, saw the Tenth Heaven of Sword Dao surpassing the Ninth Heaven Dao Realm, and learned Su Yun’s method of stopping here, resolving most of his Dao injuries.

On the way back to the Immortal Realm, Di Feng was ambushed by the Evil Emperor and nearly died, but was spared by the Evil Emperor, who hoped that the Immortal Dao would go further, but thought the Evil Emperor was too rigid. Outside the Imperial Court (帝廷), after failing to attack Su Yun with his Tribulation Luck Treasure (劫运至宝), he did not hesitate to sell out the interests of humanity, allied with the God and Demon Emperors (神魔二帝) to fight against Su Yun and others, and launched a full-scale war with the Seventh Immortal Realm.

Due to his determination to fight the Evil Emperor again, the Immortal Court army was wiped out of Dao Flowers and Dao Landscapes by the Thunder Pool, but in his own confrontation with the Evil Emperor, his swordsmanship went further, very close to the Tenth Heaven. When Su Yun returned from the Cosmic Graveyard, he tried to intercept Su Yun. Su Yun tried to put pressure on him to break through to the Tenth Heaven, but Di Feng ran away because he was suppressed. In order to maintain power and cooperate with Di Hu, he was despised by the Evil Emperor. When the Evil Emperor’s obsession dissipated, he wanted to take advantage of the Evil Emperor’s weakness to kill him and eliminate his mental demons, but was defeated by the Evil Emperor’s body controlled by Di Zhao (帝昭). In the final battle, he was healed by the Samsara Saint King, wanting to take advantage of Di Zhao’s serious injury to kill his own mental demons, but unexpectedly, Di Xin (帝心) and Di Zhao overlapped, showing the strength close to Di Jue’s peak, and Di Zhao shattered his Dao Heart, destroying all his mana. While escaping, due to the loss of all mana, he hid on his destroyed planet, and was killed by Shui Ling (水灵), the only survivor of that world, who used his head to sacrifice to the dead.
