Wu Xianren is a male character from Zhai Zhu’s Xuanhuan novel, “Lin Yuan Xing.”
Wu Xianren is a swordplay genius who mastered the Sword Dao before even understanding swordsmanship. He is callous, greedy, and ambitious but lacks talent, earning the contempt of most immortals. He was once apprenticed to the old god Wen Qiao, but after becoming powerful, he treated Wen Qiao as a servant. He was once a subordinate of the Evil Emperor Jue, but later defected to Emperor Feng. He learned the seventeenth style of the Tribulation Sword Dao created by Su Yun but was unable to learn the sword techniques Su Yun derived from it due to his lack of talent. Because he was jealous of Su Yun’s talent in swordplay, he tried to kill Su Yun but was countered by Su Yun’s sword escaping the Tribulation Sword Dao. His Sword Dao imprint was severed, rendering him unable to use the sword again. While attempting to assassinate Wen Qiao, he was tricked by Wen Qiao into triggering the Thunder Tribulation Liquid within his body, bearing the tribulation for the sake of all living beings, and ultimately perishing.

Character Experience
He was once apprenticed to the old god Wen Qiao, receiving Wen Qiao’s devoted guidance, but after becoming powerful, he treated Wen Qiao as a servant. Suppressed by Emperor Feng in the way of the sword, he once wanted to kill him while he was weak, but he did not dare to act due to the presence of the Evil Emperor Jue. Initially, he was ordered by the Evil Emperor Jue to guard the Northern Crown Great Wall, isolating the Immortal World from the lower realms. For the sake of profit, he betrayed the Evil Emperor Jue, defected to Emperor Feng, and refined all of the Thunder Tribulation Liquid in the Thunder Pool as a result, only to be captured and suppressed by Emperor Feng in the Myriad Transformation Immortal Furnace. Later, he escaped with Su Yun’s help but did not help Su Yun and Chai Chuxi escape danger. He wanted to enter the Imperial Court to find the First Blessed Land but was severely injured by the corpse of the Evil Emperor Jue. He survived after Su Yun asked Dong Shenwang to heal him, but he was ungrateful and schemed against Su Yun in the Great Sacrifice Immortal Palace. While being chased by Yuan Xianjun, he reached an agreement with Su Yun in order to obtain immortal energy to ensure that he would not be turned to ashes, requesting Dong Shenwang to heal him, promising to guard Tian Shi Yuan for half a year and assist in deciphering the Immortal Emperor’s Sword Dao, while also fighting against Yuan Xianjun. Both sides were seriously injured. After the Thunder Pool was restored, he was unwilling to return the Thunder Tribulation Liquid and chose to flee, and was determined by Emperor Xin to inevitably encounter tribulation.
