Xiao En is a character in the historical wuxia drama “Joy of Life,” portrayed by actor Yu Rongguang.
Xiao En was once the chief of the Northern Wei’s secret agents and the commander of the Jinyi Tiqi (imperial guards). Because he knew the secrets of the “Temple,” he was hunted by various forces. Later, he was captured by Chen Pingping and imprisoned in Southern Qing for 20 years. Afterward, Qing exchanged Xiao En and Si Lili for Yan Bingyun.
