Fei Jie is a male character in the historical drama Joy of Life (Seasons 1 and 2), portrayed by actor Liu Hua.

In the drama, Fei Jie is an important figure in the Supervisory Council of the Southern Qing Dynasty and also Fan Xian’s teacher. He is a master of poisons, virtually unmatched in the field. He is highly skilled in the creation and use of poisons, even capable of killing thousands of people in a city with a single dose.

Fei Jie is a “divine physician” who is proficient in toxicology. In the drama, he is ordered to go to Danzhou to teach Fan Xian. Initially, Fan Xian did not know his identity and once attacked Fei Jie with a brick. Later, Wu Zhu explained that Fei Jie was one of their own. Fei Jie’s teachings to Fan Xian are very strict, not only imparting toxicology but also helping Fan Xian improve his strategic vision and other skills.
