Information
Synopsis:
Tang Jie is a modern youth who inadvertently transmigrates to the world of the Qixia Realm. This is a foreign world where people only care about schemes and benefits. Only the strong can trample the weak, and there is no place for the useless.
Unfortunately, Tang Jie is just an ordinary young man without any special talent or a millennium-old secret manual. He only wants to live a peaceful and comfortable life. However, in this world, without strength, one is destined to be trampled upon.
He must carve out his own path to immortality with his own blood and sweat, taking one step at a time, relying on his own efforts to move forward.
Xian Lu Zheng Feng is a very excellent Xianxia novel. In my opinion, its logical consistency is second only to A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality (凡人修仙传), but I am puzzled as to why it is not as widely known as other novels.
Characters
Tang Jie (唐劫): The male protagonist. Originally named Tang Jie (唐杰), he transmigrates to the Qixia Realm due to an accidental disaster, possessing the reincarnated body of an Immortal Emperor. He excels at comprehension of Dao. Unwilling to be ordinary, he is skilled in planning, pursues a free and unrestrained life, and values loyalty and righteousness. After witnessing a battle between cultivators, he resolves to cultivate immortality. He later becomes sworn brothers with True Person Tianxin (天心真人) Xu Muyang (虚慕阳), who serves as both his mentor and friend. With Xu Muyang’s help, he unlocks the Jade Gate Five Revolutions (玉门五转), granting him average aptitude for cultivation. Under Xu Muyang’s guidance, he is first introduced to the art of formations (阵道). Upon learning Xu Muyang’s identity, he accepts the precious Nine Li Mysterious Weapon Compendium brought by Xu Muyang, which leads to his pursuit by the Celestial God Palace. Grieving Xu Muyang’s death, he vows to destroy the Celestial God Palace. He later joins the Moon Washing Sect (洗月派) and undergoes the inheritance of the War Sovereign (兵主). After experiencing rebellious acts, he obtains the Five Gods Sect (五神教) avatar secret technique during a mission to help Wei Tianchong (卫天冲) become a true disciple. The avatar focuses on spells, comprehension, and formations, while the main body enters the War Sovereign’s secret realm to temper the body. After entering the Violet Palace (紫府) realm, he plots the destruction of the Celestial God, leading the Moon Washing Sect on a conquest, initiating a war in the cultivation world.
Xu Miaoran (许妙然): The female protagonist. Daughter of the Violet Palace’s Revered Woe Vanquishing True Lord Xu Guanghua (紫府敬亡忧真君许光华) of the Six Great Sects’ Horizon Ocean Pavilion (天涯海阁). As the Magistrate of Pu Feng County (蒲风县主), she has a carefree personality and dislikes constraints. She meets Tang Jie while traveling to Wenxin Kingdom (文心国), where they develop feelings for each other. When they part, she gives Tang Jie a Thousand Miles Sound Transmission Talisman (千里传音符). They officially become a couple while being pursued by the Celestial God Palace, and later have a son and a daughter.
Shen Qingdan (沈晴丹): The second female lead. Young Mistress of the Free Wanderer Palace (逍遥宫). Due to the Free Wanderer Palace lacking top cultivators in recent years, it cannot remain independent and must rely on the Six Great Sects. To address this, the Free Wanderer Palace launches a Fairy Fate Gathering (仙缘会), using Shen Qingdan’s search for a Dao companion as a pretext to determine the Free Wanderer Palace’s allegiance. She chooses Tang Jie, but due to both of them having reservations, they do not immediately become a couple and instead establish a marriage agreement for the future. (However, the author has stated that their relationship will not be further developed, similar to An Rumeng (安如梦), she is a passerby on the path of emotions.)
Xu Muyang (虚慕阳): A native of Mo Tui Kingdom (莫颓国), the third son of the Xu family, one of the four great cultivation families. A True Person of the Heavenly Heart Realm (天心境真人) and a master of formations. He possesses the Nine Li War Sovereign Mysterious Weapon Compendium, which leads to his pursuit by the Celestial God Palace. He is forced to self-destruct his Heavenly Heart by Shi Wunian (释无念). He is both a mentor and friend to Tang Jie, and a pivotal figure in Tang Jie’s life. He teaches Tang Jie immortal arts and formations, unlocks his Jade Gate, and entrusts him with the Compendium.
Yi Yi (伊伊): A spirit transformed from a Six-Jaw Insect. She is discovered and deceived by Tang Jie in the Wei Mansion (卫府) garden. She excels at plant cultivation and is naturally proficient in mazes. She and Tang Jie cultivate the Heart-to-Heart Secret Technique (心有灵犀秘法) together, sharing a close, sibling-like relationship.

The Moon Washing Sect and Heavenly Passion Sect share close ties, the Horizon Ocean Pavilion and Seven Absolute Sect are allies, and the Celestial God Palace and Beast Refining Sect are on good terms.
Giant Spirit World (巨灵界): According to the “Great Wilderness Travelogue (大荒游记)”, there is a world named Giant Spirit in the Star Luo Great Thousand World. Located in the center of the Star Luo Great Thousand World, cultivators within the world do not cultivate spiritual arts but focus on blood energy, resulting in large, strong bodies. The strongest is called the Giant Spirit King (巨灵王).
Azure Cloud World (青云界): A world where humans and demons coexist, but demons dominate.
Blood River World (血河界): Adjacent to the Qixia Realm, originally part of the Qixia Realm. Ten thousand years ago, it was split into two by Zhou Quanzi (周全子) using the Xuanyuan Sword (轩辕剑). A mixed land of humans, demons, and devils, divided into seven regions, with demons occupying four, devils occupying two, and humans occupying one. Demons worship Blood River Ancestor (血河老祖) as their ancestor.

Hongmeng Realm (鸿蒙界): It is said that the Hongmeng Realm is extremely barren, the most barren place in the world, corresponding to the Star Luo. A major calamity occurs every three thousand years, having invaded the Qixia Realm and the Giant Spirit World in the past.
