She and Han Li worked together to kill the Ink Flood Dragon in the Scarlet Forbidden Land. Later, after encountering the Ink Flood Dragon’s lust sac, she engaged in conjugal bliss with Han Li. She became Han Li’s Dao Companion in the mid-Nascent Soul stage. Due to insufficient cultivation, she temporarily stayed in the Human World after Han Li secretly crossed over to the Spirit World. She later broke through to the Transformation God stage and accidentally ascended to the Small Spirit Heaven. Han Li met Nangong Wan in the Small Spirit Heaven after breaking through to the Mahayana stage.
