Tian Qi is one of the three Blood Soul Mentors. He possesses the bloodlines of the three Spirit Races: Time, Space, and Destiny. As the true leader and saint of the Spirit Race, he is on the verge of entering the highest realm. However, fearing interference from the Yu Hun Great Emperor, he co-led many plans with Yan, including the invasion of the Demon Abyss (Yellow Spring Purgatory, Nine Nether Purgatory).

He failed to successfully awaken Austin in the Nine Nether Purgatory. Through Shen Lan, he found the Staff of Destiny – a Spirit Race artifact capable of controlling fate, left in the Nine Nether by the previous saint (and handed over to Shen Lan).

He possesses formidable power and can control the flow of time for short periods. Later, fearing Qin Lie, he did not break through to the tenth-level bloodline.
