Faji Bodhisattva is one of the Four Great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism. He was once absorbed by the Floating屠 Pagoda, leaving only a remnant soul. Faji Bodhisattva appears as a kind-faced old man, similar to the spirits within the Floating屠 Pagoda, yet possessing his own unique qualities. Three hundred and sixty years ago, Faji Bodhisattva travelled the world, only to suddenly disappear without a trace, becoming an unsolved mystery within Buddhism. In reality, his soul was absorbed by the Floating屠 Pagoda to maintain the pagoda’s own clarity, preventing it from degenerating into a mindless monster. It was only when Xu Qi’an stepped forward that he was rescued from the abyss, and his remnant soul was entrusted to Taoist Priest Jin Lian for care, in the hope that he could recover and continue to bring light to Buddhism.
