Character Profile

Background

Bai Fengjiu is the Queen of Qingqiu, the daughter of Bai Yi (the illegitimate son of the Fox Emperor Bai Zhi) and Immortal Mother Fu Mi of the Red Fox clan. She inherited the position of Queen from her aunt, Bai Qian, who married the Crown Prince of the Celestial Tribe, Ye Hua.

Bai Fengjiu was rescued by Emperor Donghua when she was young, which sparked her affection for him. Determined to repay his kindness, she transformed into a servant and entered the Taichen Palace. After numerous twists and turns, the two eventually overcame the “lack of fate” on the Destiny Stone and came together.

Appearance

Bai Fengjiu’s true form is a nine-tailed fox as red as pigeon blood, with only her ears and paws being snow-white. When transformed into human form, a phoenix feather pattern appears on her forehead, and her appearance is incomparably beautiful. She has a slender figure, black hair like a waterfall that shines in the moonlight. Her face is always full of vitality, her eyes are lively, and she is even more charming when she acts coy.

Personality

Bai Fengjiu is lively, loves to cook, has a good sense of humor, is clever but also very determined. She is deeply loved by everyone in Qingqiu. She likes to joke and play pranks, but she behaves with dignity and propriety in front of outsiders. She considers herself “amorous,” but in reality, once she makes up her mind, she is a “heartless” person.

Daily Life

As a child, Bai Fengjiu was often “abandoned” by her parents and raised by her aunt Bai Qian. She once transformed into a servant in the Taichen Palace, transformed into a spirit fox to save Donghua, and followed him down to the mortal realm to repay his kindness. After leaving Qingqiu, she traveled everywhere, opened a restaurant, ran a bookstore, sold groceries, and even set up a stall on the roadside to sell tea…

Emotional Journey

Fated Encounter

As a child, Bai Fengjiu was chased by a tiger demon and was rescued by Emperor Donghua. She transformed into a servant and entered the Taichen Palace, but was blocked by Zhi He and could never see Donghua.

Transformation into a Spirit Fox

In order to save Donghua from the Ten Evil Lotus Realm, she sacrificed her appearance, voice, and nine tails to the demon lord Nie Chuyin, becoming a spirit fox accompanying Donghua. Later, due to a misunderstanding that Donghua was going to marry Ji Heng, she left heartbroken.

Repaying Kindness in the Mortal Realm

With the help of the God of Destiny, Bai Fengjiu used a clone to go to the mortal realm to repay his kindness, but failed. When she learned that Emperor Donghua was experiencing tribulation in the mortal realm, she used the “Two Lives Curse” to possess Chen Guiren, saving the emperor but also causing Ye Qingti to sacrifice.

Official Encounter

At the wedding of Ye Hua and Bai Qian, Donghua officially met Bai Fengjiu for the first time. He often teased her, turning her into a handkerchief and carrying her with him. Later, the two fell into Van音谷 (Fan Yin Valley) together, and Bai Fengjiu fought for the Pinba fruit to save Ye Qingti.

Alanruo’s Dream

Injured while stealing the Pinba fruit, Bai Fengjiu entered Alanruo’s dream – her past life’s clone. Here, she gradually developed feelings for Donghua, who was disguised as Xi Ze, and discovered the truth about Alanruo’s death.

The Final Turbulence

On the eve of the wedding, Donghua was absent to repay Ji Heng’s father’s kindness, causing Bai Fengjiu to misunderstand and give birth to their son alone in the mortal realm. When she learned that Donghua was about to perish because of fighting with Miaoluo, she fought alongside him with the Half-Heart Ring, and was eventually rescued by Bai Qian and Mo Yuan in time.

Major Achievements

  • With Donghua’s help, defeated Miaoluo’s shadow incarnation in Van音谷 (Fan Yin Valley).
  • Joined forces with Donghua to eliminate Miaoluo in the Bihai Cangling, exhausting their cultivation to severely injure the evil being, almost losing their lives.

Bai Fengjiu is the embodiment of unwavering love and fearless courage. From a mischievous little fox to a strong Queen of Qingqiu who has experienced hardships, she overcame “destiny” and wrote the love story of “Three Lives Three Worlds” with Emperor Donghua. Her journey is not only about pursuing happiness, but also about sacrifice and a profound depiction of responsibility to family and all living beings.
