Synopsis
Dragon Serpent Evolution primarily tells the story of the clash between Guoshu and modern firearms. In a chaotic era, dragons and serpents emerge, depicting how an ordinary young man ascends to the peak step by step, revealing a true Guoshu world. It develops the Jingwu School of martial artists and creates a Guoshu style. Ancient martial artists learned to kill enemies, not to perform; modern martial artists only perform, not kill. The protagonist, Wang Chao, practices diligently for 15 years, participates in 107 martial arts discussions, receives guidance from 87 individuals, and comprehends the mountains, waters, sun, and moon, ultimately reaching the realm of transformation (Huajin).
It showcases an extraordinary world unfamiliar to the public – gang warfare, brutal black market fights, international financial magnates strangling foreign economies, and secret politics, all revealed by an ordinary, somewhat timid rogue.
He is Wang Chao.
After forming a connection with Tang Zichen, the leader of the secret organization Tang Sect, Wang Chao gradually reaches the pinnacle of martial arts through extraordinary perseverance and enlightenment, battling martial arts masters from various schools, joining and betraying mysterious organizations, and navigating between different forces.
How does Wang Chao create a false and bizarre legend, forging a strange and tortuous life!
Related Characters
Wang Chao: The male protagonist. Originally an ordinary high school student, he coincidentally encounters Tang Zichen, a mysterious woman, practicing in the park one morning and follows her to learn martial arts, considering her his elder sister. After Tang Zichen leaves, Wang Chao practices martial arts alone and becomes a Mingjin peak martial artist. Later, he receives guidance from a Baguazhang senior and experiences the Long March, comprehending the martial spirit of “Dragon fights in the wilderness, its blood is black and yellow,” stepping into Anjin, taking the initiative, and laying an invincible foundation. He then founds the Laoshan Neijia Martial Arts School, cultivates martial arts to the Huajin level, and becomes an army Major General, enjoying great success. Later, he discovers that the army’s recruitment of him is only to lure out Tang Zichen, betrays the army in South Korea, and follows Tang Zichen to Southeast Asia. After that, his martial arts enter the supreme realm of shattering the void, seeing the divine unharmed. He eventually becomes the leader of the Nanyang Tang Sect, reconciles with the domestic government, defeats GOD at the Martial Arts Tournament, becomes the world’s number one expert, and finally marries Tang Zichen in Beijing.
Tang Zichen: The first female lead, leader of the Tang Sect, a top martial artist, instructor for multiple international special forces, a Southeast Asian underworld tycoon, and a figure in the smuggling world. In China, she practiced in the park in the morning and accidentally encountered Wang Chao, spontaneously teaching him martial arts. Later, with Wang Chao’s help, she unified the major overseas Chinese forces and married Wang Chao. Tang Zichen is Wang Chao’s sister, teacher, and wife, with deep affection and righteousness. She holds the highest position in Wang Chao’s heart, and no one can shake it. Her martial arts realm reaches the level of “not seeing, not hearing, feeling danger and avoiding it, sincere and earnest.” Her strength ranks third in the book.
Huo Ling’er: One of the female leads, Miss Huo from Hong Kong, loves martial arts very much, and becomes Wang Chao’s apprentice. Spending time together day and night, feelings gradually develop. She is a lively and willful girl. Wang Chao was also moved, but because of his bond with Tang Zichen, he ultimately did not accept her feelings. Huo Ling’er has extremely high talent, has practiced martial arts since childhood, and at the end of the book, she has entered the Dandao realm, becoming one of the top ten experts in the Martial Arts Tournament, and challenging her romantic rival, Tang Zichen.
GOD: The biggest BOSS in the book, his martial arts have reached the level of shattering the void, seeing the divine unharmed. He locks onto qi and blood. Slaying the red dragon and subduing the white tiger, his realm is supreme and his whole body has no flaws. Nicknamed “Long Eyebrows,” he once created the Reincarnation Team, which dominated the world. Even Blackwater, the largest security company in the United States, submits to him. Before Wang Chao’s rise, the leader of GOD was the world’s number one expert. The Taoist stunt “Planting Lotus in Fire” is the highest achievement in martial arts. He was ultimately defeated by Wang Chao at the Martial Arts Tournament and died of exhaustion.
Ba Liming: Wang Chao’s friend, the King of Combat during the Cultural Revolution, a generation of martial arts grandmaster proficient in all the world’s boxing techniques. When he appears, he has already reached the ultimate Dandao realm, and is both a literary and martial genius. His boxing intent is “The Emperor star is shaking, the world is in rebellion.” His martial arts include Xiangxiang Crossing the River, Vajra Wheel Fist, Tiger’s Roar Golden Bell Cover, Dragon’s Roar Iron Shirt… His fighting style is fierce and powerful. He fought the leader of GOD in Beijing, was seriously injured but did not die, and entered the realm of shattering the void, seeing the divine unharmed. He narrowly lost to Tang Zichen at the Martial Arts Tournament and left gracefully.
Cultivation System
Mingjin (Manifest Power): Train the strength of the whole body, and then concentrate it, hitting out with one punch, the air explodes, the power is amazing, “a thousand gold is hard to buy a single sound” refers to this, this is the realm of Mingjin.
Anjin (Hidden Power): Going a step further, train the mind and skin and hair, adjust the last section of the spine to the center of gravity, so that the outer membrane of the whole body’s bones and tendons are connected, vigorously emitting Anjin, this is called connecting the Ren and Du meridians. The largest spine meridian of the human body is the Ren and Du meridians. The vitality generated in the body due to exercise is emitted through the pores and transformed into Anjin.
Huajin (Transforming Power): Then go a step further, connect the whole body, regulate the internal organs, recognize and master every organ of the inner and outer body, and then train. This will ultimately allow the entire body, teeth, tongue, nails, and hair, these four ends, to be covered with Anjin, reaching a state where “a thread cannot be added, and a fly cannot land.” This is Huajin. Practicing martial arts to this realm, the internal organs are clean and tidy, the whole body’s bones and tendons are strong, and the bone marrow is full. As long as it is properly maintained, living past 130-140 years is not a problem.
Danjin (Elixir Power): A further step is the mid-level skill of Huajin, internalizing the golden elixir, the whole body is complete. Embracing the elixir and sitting on the hips, let the whole body’s essence, energy, and spirit, and blood marrow are compressed a little, just like the moment when Hongmeng first opened, evolving the tiny point of the vast world. This level of skill is described as so mysterious, but in fact it is compressing the power of the whole body, concentrating it in the dantian, and then exploding suddenly. The tighter it is contained, the stronger the explosive power will be. Once the elixir is successfully embraced, you can reach the realm of controlling qi and blood with intention, and physical fitness can break the human limit.
Gangjin (Adamantine Power): Jin (power) is highly concentrated, penetrating the body and hitting the outside, but only about an inch away. At this step, the Jin of the whole body is vigorously emitted, which can tear the air and turn it into Gangqi (adamantine energy), the power is strong, and it can be called rare in the world.
Shattering the Void, Seeing the Divine Unharmed: Entering this realm, people can perfectly control their bodies, know their bodies like the back of their hand. What is divine? The divine in the elixir scriptures, the divine in boxing techniques is definitely not the ethereal Jade Emperor and Taishang Laojun in the sky, but many sensitive and tiny acupoints in the body. The sensitive points of these acupoints dominate the operation of the human body, just like the gods who govern all things in the world. Shattering the void, you can see the divine. That is, the degree of sensitivity of human cultivation reaches the highest realm, penetrating into the micro, being able to clearly feel every tiny and sensitive acupoint in your body, knowing what these acupoints are for, and what role they play in the body. Just like in Buddhism, cultivating to the highest realm, going to the Western Paradise, hundreds of billions of Buddha lands, and seeing countless Buddhas, the Paradise in Buddhism, hundreds of millions of Buddhas, like gods, are all the gods who dominate their own bodies. The Paradise is not in the West, but in one’s own body.
