White Snake is a character from the comic Journey to the West (西行纪), voiced by TuTu.

White Snake was once one of the powerful demons of Demon Street (妖怪大道), and later became the Queen of the Poor Qi Cave (穷奇地洞). She possesses a miasma that can turn living things into stone.

Character Arc:

She was once one of the powerful demons of Demon Street, and later became the Queen of the Poor Qi Cave, possessing a miasma that can turn living things into stone.

Sixteen years ago, she fell in love with Xuanzang (玄正) and together they transformed the Poor Qi Waterway, creating a water diversion mechanism that directly connected the underground water of Demon Street. However, she secretly harbored feelings for another, Tang Sanzang (唐三藏).

Sixteen years later, subtly influenced by the Celestial Master Yuanshi (原始天尊), she fell into darkness and became a Dark Soul (暗魂), slaughtering everyone else in the Poor Qi Waterway and turning all the demons in the Poor Qi Cave into Dark Souls. Xuanzang, fearing her, eventually distanced himself from her. Despite this, White Snake expressed to Xuanzang that she would never harm him and hoped he would return to her side, but he refused.

After taking over the water diversion mechanism, Xuanzang hoped that the Great Master Tang Sanzang could find a way to save the corrupted White Snake. He was therefore willing to help the scripture seeking team (还经小队) through the difficulties of the Poor Qi Waterway.

When the scripture seeking team came to the Poor Qi Waterway to find her, she attempted to mate with Tang Sanzang and was severely injured by Sun Wukong (孙悟空). The Celestial Master Yuanshi seized the opportunity to make a deal with her, helping her increase her power and evolve through molting. She once again battled Sun Wukong, but ultimately failed.

When the Shadow Emperor (暗影天帝) and his entourage arrived, she joined their ranks, using the water diversion mechanism to help them reach the Great Black River (大黑河).

She then crossed the Great Black River to the other side with them.

After a battle with Zhu Bajie (猪八戒), she withdrew from the Dark Soul team. After the incident, she opened a Western Journey Inn (西行客栈) with Tang Sanzang and his companions on Demon Street. She reconciled with Xuanzang and returned to her normal life.
